After months of rumors, multiple reliable sources have today announced that Nintendo's new home console, "Project Cafe", is in the works. The system is said to have processing power comparable to that of the X-Box 360 and PS3. The system will be backwards compatable with the Wii, and will be developed with hardcore audiences in mind. The interesting thing about the system, however, is the controller. The controller will return to the style of the Gamecube, but with a 6 inch HD touch screen on the controller's face. This means that games may be able to be continued on the road. Also, rumors are in of a camera, and sensor bar in the controller.
Finally, none of this has actually be confirmed by Nintendo themselves, however, an official reveal is expected at this year's E3 which runs June 7-9 2011 in Los Angeles. The system is expected to launch in Holiday 2012.
This blog is dedicated to the system which we'll currently call "Project Cafe" and will run until the system is released. I can't wait to get this blog going, so tell your friends, and get ready, because based on Nintendo's past, I'm sure this will be an amazing new system!
